Creating Link Trees

A Hub For Lead Capture

Transcript

This next quick and easy win is extremely powerful because it enables us to turn our social media profiles into lead-generating machines. As you probably know, most social profiles only give you one link. Most companies use it to link to their homepage, which most of the time isn’t very optimized for a mobile experience. But then companies like Link Tree and Link In Bio came along to solve this problem by enabling you to build very mobile-optimized pages that are basically just a couple of buttons. The great news is we can build these pages very quickly and very easily right here in our platform. So let’s go learn how to set one up.

First, we’re going to navigate to Sites, then the Websites tab, and then we’ll click New Website. Under the template library here, we’re going to type ‘linktree’ and we’ll get a couple of templates we can start from. I’m going to grab this template. Let’s go ahead and click “Continue” to load it up, “Agree” to get this template then wait for it to load into the account. Once it loads into your account, go ahead and click into it. Then we’ll click “Edit” to open up the page editor, and here we have our template to start with.I’m not going to completely rework this in this tutorial, but obviously, you’d want to click into the elements and change the image to your company’s logo.
To change the background image click the row, and go to background image in the left sidebar.

Now click the image icon this will open a window that will allow you to select or upload an image or even search sites like Unsplash and PixaBay for free. So let’s say, in this example, that you’re a dentist, we could come in here and search dentists and we could grab any of these images we can just double click, and that would load right in for our background. Then, of course, we’ll change the name of the form to match our dentistry. But most importantly, here is where we want to work in the call to action form we built before, so that you can use your linktree page to capture leads.

So I’ll start by cloning this button, and then give it a little margin on the bottom to match the rest of our buttons. We’re going to then change the text, which, of course, is going to match your call to action form. So, you guessed it, we’re going to put ‘Claim Offer’ for now. Now we can scroll down and set the button, to open a popup. So, we open the popup, then add a single column row, and add our form. We can search for this by name by typing “claim offer” Once you’ve found it, select it, then close the form. When you’ve finished editing everything else to your liking, we can go ahead and hit Save. Let’s preview it.

We can see we’ve got an awesome mobile optimized page that we can now use as the link on all our social profiles, complete with a call-to-action form that’ll generate leads for you, right from your social profiles. Now, before we go, here’s one quick tip for how to preview what the page actually looks like on your phone. If you’re using the Chrome browser, just click this little icon here and choose Create QR code. Then, you can just point your phone’s camera at this, and it’ll open up that page on your phone so you can check it out on mobile.
Once you’re fully satisfied with your page, you just need to attach it to a subdomain. Congratulations, you just turned your Social Media profiles into lead-generation machines!
