First, let’s Navigate over to sites, in the left-hand sidebar. Then go to blogs at the top here . Here it is important to note, that to post blog posts to a website, you need to already have one in place, so that there is somewhere to host them. Once that is done, you can publish them from the publish menu, after you have finished creating your post, For now, we are going to continue, as if you had already set this up.

So let’s click new post, this will bring up a pop-up menu, where we start the blog creation process. Here we are going to choose a title for our post, so for now, I am going to pick, “10 tips for creating a good blog” . Next, we have to pick an image to go along with our post. You can do this by clicking on change which will take you to the media library. I haven’t got anything saved for this occasion so i am going to do a search on Pixabay for something relevant. So let’s just type in Blogger for now, and see what we get. Ok, I think I’ll use this picture here, by just double-clicking.

Now you can add in any ALT text you would like to use for the cover image, try and make it a description of the photo. So i am going to type “the concept of blogging. After the Alt text, its time to move on to the post description.

As I am writing about blog creation, i am going to add “Exploring top tips to help you create a successful blog that will stand out from the competition.” Now we just need to click on create post and wait.

Here as you can see the ai has generated a good structure for our blog, there are titles, subtitles, and places for pictures and video.

Now it’s time for the more precise work to take place. Let’s go up to the content AI button for our next steps. first we need to select the type of content we would like to generate. The options here are outline, introduction and section. So let’s start with the outline of blog to give us a good idea of where we are heading. Then we add the theme of our content, this being “top ten tips for creating a good blog” Then let’s add our description.

So let’s go with “Exploring the top ten things you can do when making a blog to allow it to stand out from the competition and keep viewers engaged.” Then we will add some keywords in there, let’s say. media and engaging. Now we have to select the writing tone, I am going to choose casual for now, but what you choose depends entirely on the voice of your business, its function, and the subject matter. Then I am going to generate 3 variations of this content. Then, all we have to do is click generate.

Now it’s time to select, which variation of content you prefer. When you have chosen, just select “copy” from the section, this will copy it into the box on the right. Should you not like any of the variations, you can choose to generate new content and see if you like those. I’ll just copy the first variation for the time being. Then click continue.

As you can see, this has input our content into the post, for some people that may be all you need, some of us would just like a direction to go in. However, should you need different types of content try using content AI to generate an introduction or a section by following the same process. Remember that after the Content AI has generated your content you should always read through the blog post, to see exactly what the AI has written and to make sure everything seems correct. So go through the post and edit as you see fit. Then when you are done just click continue.

Now we have reached, the settings for publishing.

At the top of this page, it asks for the URL, you would like to see the blog published to. As a rule of thumb, it is a good idea to include the title of the post, but some people like to include the date, or other information as well.

You can then add a category to your post, you can either select an existing category from the drop down menu, or add a new category which will bring up a separate pop-up menu allowing you to customize the category with an image URL, and description. Any new categories you add, will be available to choose from, for all of your future blog posts.

The next box is for your chosen keywords. So just select a few, then type each individually, followed by enter. You can then select the author for your post from the drop down menu, or add a new author. When you click on, add new author you will be given further customization options. You can add in the name of the author, a photo and a description, along with the option to link to that authors social media accounts. Once an author has been added, they will be available to choose from in the drop down menu, next time you make a blog post. Then all you have to do, is either publish your post, schedule your post to be published later, or save it as a draft. For now i think i will save this as a draft.
