Engage With Clients Even When You’re Busy
Hi, I’m Allie – our AI powered, training personality.
Did you know that every day, 62% of calls, directed to small businesses, go unanswered? Crazy right? Crazy but true – think of all the missed business and revenue, just because businesses aren’t able to get to more than half, of their inbound phone calls. I know what you’re thinking: Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to answer these phone calls… automatically? Well… you’re going to love this next feature, especially because it’s already set up.
That’s right – remember the phone number you acquired and set up in the last lesson? When you did that, you also enabled a feature called ‘the missed call text back.’ Now, every time a call comes into your new number that doesn’t get answered, our system, will automatically, fire back a text message that says: “sorry we missed your call. How can we help?” The 62% missed call rate, no longer applies to you and your business is well on its way to recouping a lot of revenue – pretty cool, right? Now, even though the feature is automatically enabled, you may want to customize the wording of the text message that goes out, so let’s jump into settings right now and learn how we can configure this for ourselves. All we need to do is go down to the bottom of the left-hand column to “Settings”, and we should be in our business profile. That’s where we want to be.
Scroll down, and on the right-hand side we will see the missed call text back, already enabled. And here, in the text box, you can edit the message that’s sent out when you miss a call at your new number. You can customize the message to read however you want, and you can even use custom values if you want to personalize the message or pull in any information related to your own business – like a signature.
Go on, test it out: Call your new number yourself, hang up after it rings once, and wait for your text message to appear – it’s that easy.
